Elli Legerski (a Pueblo native and South High School graduate) was Oscar-nominated for producing Jane Austen's Period Drama, a comedic short film honored at the Academy Awards on Jan.

Pueblo has introduced a new pothole repair machine that uses hot mix technology to make permanent fixes in cold weather.
The machine is already improving repairs on 29th Street, and residents can report potholes to the Public Works Department.
