Black Hills Energy declared a PSPS Watch beginning Monday at noon to monitor high fire risk conditions, and may cut power for about 5,400 customers in Pueblo, Crowley, Otero and Fremont Counties between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday + residents should update emergency plans.

Black Hills Energy declared an Emergency Public Safety Power Shutoff Watch on Monday for isolated portions in Crowley, Fremont, Otero and Pueblo counties so residents can prepare for possible power cuts + the utility said the watch is meant to protect public safety.
