Pueblo D70 board president Ann Bennett announced on Feb.

16 that Susie Carnes will fill a board vacancy after a Feb. 10 meeting ended abruptly when Director A.J. Wilson had a medical emergency and Bennett left early. Some board members oppose the move — Bennett said it meets state law.
