- ➤ Pueblo law enforcement and transportation officials say texts claiming unpaid toll bills are scams. They warn that Colorado does not bill ExpressLane tolls via text and advise residents to delete any suspicious messages—if you see one, do not click on links or share personal details. - ➤ FBI Denver Division, working with ICE Denver, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, Pueblo Police Department and Colorado Springs Police Department, arrested suspected cartel member Omar Valdez-Lerma on charges of re-entry after deportation (with previous charges in 2018 and 2021) and links to a cartel labeled as a foreign terrorist organization (details not specified) on Thursday afternoon. - ➤ A Pueblo woman, 25-year-old Mythia Latka, was convicted on March 13 for first-degree murder in the 2023 death of her 2-year-old son from neglect—she is scheduled to be sentenced on March 31. Pueblo Chieftain

- ➤ Colorado Parks and Wildlife reached an agreement with the O'Neil Group to keep the North Shore Marina open through boating season—boat owners with rented slips no longer need to remove their boats by April 1 and can stay docked until at least October 31, 2025. KOAA

- ➤ St. Baldrick's Foundation hosts its annual head shaving fundraiser today, March 15th, 2025, at VFW post 5812 (127 East Spaulding Avenue) in Pueblo West to raise $40,000 for childhood cancer research.
