CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On March 16th at about 8:29 a.m. on the 2200 block of Inspiration Lane, Pueblo Police responded to a shots fired call and found two deceased persons in a suspected murder-suicide — the city’s first homicide of 2025. City of Pueblo
- ➤ Mario Arellano, 31, who faced 15 charges including attempted murder after driving his car into the Pueblo Mall food court in November 2023, was found dead Feb 1 from polydrug toxicity—ending the legal case. Pueblo Chieftain
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Pueblo School District 60 has seen enrollment drop to 66% capacity and is planning school restructuring that may include closures—community meetings were held on March 17 at East and are happening today at Centennial from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to gather input for recommendations due to be presented to the board in October. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Some Pueblo residents signed a petition to recall Mayor Heather Graham after the city approved it last week. The petition lists 11 issues—including a proposed food tax and high spending—and must collect over 6,200 verified signatures by May 1 to appear on the fall ballot. KKTV

- ➤ Coach Prime said during his press conference on Monday that he wants to face a different team for the spring game in April. He said he would like that team to practice with the Buffs for three days like NFL training camp before the game airs on ESPN2 on the 19th. KKTV
