Greenhorn Meadows Park in Colorado City is set to undergo major renovations after receiving a $500,000 grant from Great Outdoors Colorado to build a new football field.
Valley First raised over $2 million for further improvements — including a new baseball field, playground and trail — which are expected to be completed by the end of October.
Hope COS—a local outreach program—is renovating its Hope House to better meet community needs.
The upgrades will create more space for essential services for area residents in the coming months.

District 11 will hold parent meetings in the coming weeks to discuss the future of Jenkins Middle School (aiming to gather valuable input from families).
Officials plan to review the feedback to help shape the school's next steps.
