The Pueblo Fire Department responded to a grass fire along Dillon Drive in the Fountain Creek bed near Hart Road (next to the Pueblo Mall) yesterday, with multiple agencies assisting and officials reporting that no structures were threatened and no evacuations were ordered.

A visual display at CSU Pueblo traces the campus’s evolution from its modest 1933 beginnings to its role today as a regional comprehensive university.

Pueblo D70 named Robert DiPietro as interim superintendent, effective July 1, as current superintendent Ronda Rein retires at the end of June.

DiPietro, a former teacher + principal, will focus on supporting schools, staff and students.
