- ➤ Lucas Brown, a 26-year-old inmate set for release today, allegedly escaped from Pueblo County jail on April 24 while working as a kitchen trustee and was recaptured 35 minutes later — he now faces an additional charge for misdemeanor escape. Pueblo Chieftain
- ➤ Lucas Brown, aged 26, fled Pueblo County Jail on Thursday night while working in the kitchen and was recaptured 35 minutes later near the intersection of 7th Street and Greenwood Street+ he now faces a new escape charge just two days before his scheduled early release today. KOAA

- ➤ CSU Pueblo’s ninth annual #LoveCSUPueblo Give Day raised $70,053 in 24 hours to support over 30 campus causes — with contributions from faculty, staff, students, and alumni coming from 15 states and the U.K. — and the event surpassed its $70,000 goal. FOX21
