- ➤ Walmart will remodel 18 Colorado stores this year, including its Pueblo location at 2730 S. Prairie Ave., adding new signage, expanded online order pickup plus improved pharmacy and vision centers. The company is investing in a national upgrade following similar efforts in Colorado last year. Pueblo Chieftain
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Colorado Department of Transportation warns that 15 motorcyclist deaths between January and March mark the deadliest start since 2017 and urges riders to wear helmets ahead of the 100 Deadliest Days from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Weld and Pueblo counties report high rates of unhelmeted fatalities). - ➤ Colorado Parks and Wildlife has introduced a daily parks pass for vehicles with out-of-state plates costing $15, while residents pay $10 per day or use a $29 annual pass. The fee went into effect Friday at parks such as Chatfield State Park & Golden Gate Canyon State Park. KOAA
