Pueblo’s Cinco de Mayo celebration on May 5 featured folklorico dance, mariachi music, and cultural displays that honored local tradition while bringing neighbors together in a lively setting.

Diesel prices at $5.42 a gallon have raised fill-up costs to about $400 for local farmer Rocky Musso's tractor (holding 50 to 75 gallons) in Pueblo County, and he said he will absorb the cost rather than raise prices for his green chile customers.

He remains cautious about field operations.

The city of Pueblo will host the National Amateur Disc Golf Tour at City Park Disc Golf Course from May 15 to 17.

Recent upgrades (including new baskets) aim to draw 150 players and boost local businesses as the event reestablishes Pueblo as a disc golf destination.
