Kayla Garcia, a Pueblo native and president of Girls Inc. of Metro Denver, was appointed by Gov. Jared Polis to the CSU Board of Governors to replace Andrew Wirth.
Her term expires Dec. 31, 2028, and she is set to be sworn in at CSU Pueblo.
