- ➤ Manuel DeJesus Villanueva Miranda, a 53-year-old Colorado Springs resident, drowned May 14 at Lake Pueblo State Park while trying to rescue his two children and their friends from rough waters—witnesses and park staff attempted CPR for 40 minutes before he was pronounced dead. Pueblo Chieftain
