- ➤ Pueblo residents will be able to dispose of unwanted household items and yard debris for free at the Team Up to Clean Up event on May 31 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CSU Pueblo and the Colorado State Fairgrounds—yard waste is dropped off at Pueblo RecycleWorks and each household must show proof of residency while being limited to one truckload of items. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ On Thursday, Pueblo police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 24-year-old woman in connection with the April 6 drive-by shooting that killed 19-year-old Michael James Suazo on North Hudson Avenue and Highway 50 East Bypass after both suspects fled during a traffic stop on I-25 toward Fountain— the teen now faces charges including first-degree murder and juvenile parole violations while the adult is charged as an accessory to a crime and for tampering with physical evidence. - ➤ The Pueblo Police Department and the U.S. Marshals’ Colorado Violent Offender Task Force arrested a 15-year-old boy and 24-year-old Caitlyn Gonzales for their alleged role in a drive-by shooting that killed 19-year-old Michael Suazo near North Hudson Avenue and Highway 50 E Bypass—after a May 20 traffic stop that turned into a high-speed chase along I-25 near Fountain—bringing the suspects into custody.
