- ➤ Pueblo deputies arrested 28-year-old Shane McSwane on Monday after a high-speed chase that began when he carjacked and kidnapped an Aurora woman on Sunday night near a Circle K in Colorado City—deputies said stop sticks and a PIT maneuver helped rescue the uninjured victim. KKTV

- ➤ The City of Pueblo recommends that Safeside Recovery take over full operations of the only homeless shelter as the City Council will discuss the proposal Tuesday night and vote on it Monday, June 9 — the non-profit, which has provided temporary services for six months, plans to offer year-round overnight shelter, meals, and support programs if approved. - ➤ Demaryius Thomas — a five-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion who holds key Broncos records — was named the 38th Ring of Famer and will be honored at halftime during the upcoming Week 7 game against the Giants.
