GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Colorado State Patrol and CDOT have partnered to boost DUI enforcement during the upcoming 100 Deadliest Days—officials say they will work together to identify impaired drivers on key routes. KKTV
- ➤ Governor Jared Polis signed a bill that will set new standards for Black History education in Colorado, guiding curriculum and teacher training in public schools. The law will take effect in the upcoming school term—aiming to update lessons for students statewide. KKTV
- ➤ Gov. Polis signed a law Tuesday that creates a board under the Colorado Attorney General's Office to review and speed up the processing of rape kits. The law sets a 60-day goal for crime labs plus mandates law enforcement to update victims and lawmakers every three months on DNA results. KOAA
