Yesterday at Lake Minnequa Park, the AMR Safety Jam featured interactive safety displays and live presentations by local emergency teams while families enjoyed obstacle courses, a magic show, and hands-on activities.

Pueblo’s proposed Project Falcon, an $800 million industrial development that would create nearly 300 jobs with a tissue manufacturing facility on 300 acres across from the St. Charles Reservoir, is paused indefinitely due to community divisiveness.

The confidential manufacturing company behind Project Falcon paused plans to build a facility in Pueblo’s St. Charles Industrial Park (near the GCC cement plant) after divisiveness surfaced over the incentive package and transparency concerns voiced by Mayor Heather Graham.

Councilor Ted Hernandez said the company awaits further city support.
