- ➤ Colorado agreed to a $7.4 billion settlement with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family to address the opioid crisis — if finalized, the state will receive about $75 million over the next 15 years to bolster opioid response programs. KOAA
- ➤ Colorado Springs voters rejected a proposal on June 17 to annex 1,900 acres near Schriever Space Force Base due to water concerns raised by southern Colorado farmers and water districts—63,813 votes opposed the measure compared to 14,239 in favor. Local officials said the result warns against future annexations that may strain the region's water supply. Pueblo Chieftain
- ➤ Governor Jared Polis pardoned four Colorado residents convicted of psilocybin possession on Wednesday at the psychedelic Science 2025 Conference—he did not require an application, and residents who were not pardoned may apply for clemency by contacting the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. KKTV
