Multiple fire agencies responded to a wildfire near mile marker 73/74 (I-25) south of Pueblo Sunday evening, prompting the Colorado Department of Transportation to close CO 165 near Colorado City as officials await further details.

A wildfire south of Pueblo has forced evacuations at Applewood Mobile Home Park in Colorado City and closed Colorado Highway 165 from mile marker 34.72 to 36.89.

Multiple agencies have set up emergency centers in Pueblo (including shelters for small and large animals) as they respond to the fast-spreading blaze.
