- ➤ Atlas Holdings— a private-equity firm based in Greenwich, Connecticut— announced plans Friday to buy EVRAZ North America, which includes Pueblo’s steel mill, in a deal valued at up to $500 million; the sale will close in the second half of this year. - ➤ A 23-year-old man was arrested on Friday after an officer-involved shooting on June 24 injured a deputy when he drove off from deputies responding to a call at Loaf N Jug—his vehicle rolled over near Victory Lane and he faces charges including first-degree assault on a peace officer, second-degree assault on a peace officer, criminal mischief, vehicular eluding, cruelty to animals and contempt of court. - ➤ 23-year-old Hayden Grinstead was arrested on June 27 after he allegedly injured a deputy and struck two patrol vehicles during an officer-involved shooting on June 24 at a Loaf 'N Jug on Colorado Highway 96—he now faces charges of assaulting officers, vehicular eluding, criminal mischief, animal cruelty and contempt of court.
