Pueblo K-12 students will return to class soon, with Pueblo D70 starting on Aug.
10, followed by other groups on Aug. 11 and Aug. 17-18. College students will resume classes on Aug. 17 at Pueblo Community College and on Aug. 24 at CSU Pueblo + campus events are planned.
🌲 Environment
After more than five weeks since the Aspen Acres Fire began near Aspen Acres campground in Custer County, firefighters increased containment to 71% by Aug.
4 across Pueblo and Custer counties and started scaling down resources while continuing repair work along the fire's edge.
