- ➤ Attorneys presented opening statements in the homicide trial of Corena Minjarez, who is accused of killing two young Pueblo children after their remains were found in 2024, and the trial will resume today with prosecutors blaming her while defense attorneys shift the focus to her co-defendant Dominguez—who pleaded guilty to a separate murder count.
