- ➤ State inspectors found decomposing bodies in a hidden room during an Aug 20 inspection at Davis Mortuary on Broadway Ave+ the facility was suspended on Aug 21 under the new House Bill 24-1335, and co-owner and Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter said some bodies had been stored there for 15 years. - ➤ A Pueblo man who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder testified on Aug.21 while in handcuffs against his girlfriend in her ongoing homicide trial over the 2018 deaths of his 5-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter—whose remains were discovered in 2024. Pueblo Chieftain
