- ➤ Judge Justin Reutter and nine others blind-tasted 160 chile and salsa entries on Sept. 18 as part of the Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival—winners received cash prizes and trophies after results were announced at 6 p.m. Pueblo Chieftain
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Greg Grahek was sworn in as Pueblo County Coroner on Friday—replacing Brian Cotter who resigned after his funeral home scandal. Grahek aims to restore trust and will serve the remainder of Cotter's term until an election is held next year. KOAA
- ➤ The US Air Force Thunderbirds will perform today at the Great Colorado Air Show at Northern Colorado Regional Airport—marking their first return to northern Colorado in 30 years—and will later fly at the Pueblo Air Show on September 27-28 at Pueblo Memorial Airport.
