FOX21
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Colorado State Auditor's Office confirmed that TABOR refunds for fiscal year 2025 will be issued by June 30 in 2026—most taxpayers will receive less than $100. No refunds will be provided for tax year 2027—checks for that year are expected to be mailed in 2028. FOX21
- ➤ Colorado officials announced Tuesday that SNAP benefits for November are on hold due to the government shutdown, leaving about 334,590 households without the usual $120 million aid (federal funds have not been released to cover these payments). Local agencies advise affected families to seek help at local food banks (it remains unclear whether benefits will restart before December). KOAA
