Coloradans are projected to pass free school meal Propositions LL and MM, which will provide free meals for eligible students and help families—local officials expect that communities like Pueblo could see positive impacts once the results are certified.

The Colorado Lottery and the Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center's Raptor Center are partnering to support the Fly On initiative in Pueblo; the effort aims to expand raptor recovery, provide specialized care for injured birds, and boost public education on wildlife conservation.

The program will fund final-stage flight cages and a mobile outreach vehicle—steps designed to improve outcomes for hundreds of Colorado raptors.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife will offer free entry to state parks for veterans and military members on Tuesday, November 11—proof of service is required at all 42 parks.

SNAP benefits remain suspended, leaving many Pueblo residents at risk as local food banks deliver only 1 meal for every 9 normally provided by the program — over 600,000 Coloradans, including many children, disabled, and elderly, await clearer guidance from Washington.
