FOX21 viewers captured the Northern Lights as they lit Southern Colorado skies with pink and green hues — the photos show a rare natural light display that has drawn local attention.

The Colorado State Patrol offered tips to help drivers prepare their cars for winter—advising checks on tires, battery, fluids, and visibility, and urging everyone to have an emergency kit.

Col. Matthew C. Packard explained that following these steps can help reduce the risk of winter-related crashes.

Data from Realtor.com showed that in August the median home sale price in Pueblo County fell to $299,000—down 5.8% from July’s $317,500.

Condominium and townhome prices rose 18.5% to $385,000 even as overall sales dropped 12.8%, with home sales totaling $49.8 million.
