Students from Boys and Girls Clubs of Pueblo County had their artwork chosen by the Pueblo Arts Alliance and displayed in City Hall’s Mayor’s Office after an open house on Nov.

14—Mayor Heather Graham joined the event and the art will be viewable until mid-December.

Mayor Heather Graham has displayed an art installation with 10 pieces from the Boys and Girls Club of Pueblo County in her office on Friday—Pueblo Arts Alliance selected the artworks and they will be on view until the second week of December.

The Pueblo Riverwalk will be drained starting Monday for work on the (HARP 1A Boathouse and Channel Expansion Project) as crews get ready to release water into a new channel extension soon.

While the Riverwalk stays open, the east end will close and pedestrians will be directed via Veterans’ Bridge with water expected back next week.

A tent is set up in the Pueblo Mall parking lot for Paranormal Cirque, which runs from November 14 through 17 and features acrobats, illusionists, and mysterious creatures.

Ticket prices range from $20 to $65, and the show does not admit those 13 years old or under while teens must attend with an adult 21 or older.

Pueblo D60 revealed a rightsizing plan that will merge Bradford, Bessemer and Beulah Heights elementary schools and open a pre-collegiate middle school at the Hyde Park campus — repurposed buildings will become community hubs, preschools and centers for teacher training.

The plan was developed with community input and will get final approval by the Board of Education in January 2026.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife approved new regulations that give bison dual classification as both livestock and wildlife—free-ranging bison will be protected beginning January 1 while privately owned herds remain under agricultural management.

The rules, part of the Protect Wild Bison Act, also call for a new registration process for hunters when wild herds appear.

The Pueblo City Council is reviewing an ordinance that would require restaurants to make healthy drinks — unsweetened milk or water — the default option in children’s meals to limit sugary beverage intake.

The ordinance, supported by the Pueblo Health Department, will be voted on November 24 with rules set to begin in July if approved.

Palmer Ridge and Pueblo West advanced in the CHSAA playoffs on Friday night—Palmer Ridge beat Mesa Ridge 19-16 to earn a Class 4A matchup with Broomfield while Pueblo West forced a safety for a 16-14 win over Northfield and will face Dakota Ridge next week.
