Pongo, a 3-year-old goat, rings bells at Tractor Supply Co. in Pueblo to help the Salvation Army raise over $1,000 for local families in need this holiday season—his unique bell-ringing method charms shoppers and supports food, clothing and emergency assistance.

On Saturday, hundreds braved below-freezing weather to watch Pueblo’s annual Parade of Lights — a popular holiday event that featured festive floats and light displays.

Local vendors — many of whom are struggling in a tough economy — said the parade boosted customer support.
