Pueblo Mall will turn 50 in 2026 — the anniversary will be marked by a review of its history and changes over the years.
Pueblo hosted the 35th annual Parade of Lights downtown on Saturday—thousands braved the cold to watch the festive tradition with over 80 participants and a local couple offering free meals to those in attendance.
The CSU Pueblo Foundation announced two new scholarships for undergraduates at CSU Pueblo—one awarding a minimum of $1,000 annually for students in psychology, social sciences, social work or sociology and another offering $25,000 to support business majors.
Current and admitted students can apply for the 2026 funding opportunity.
The Pueblo Mall at 3429 Dillon Drive opened on Oct.
7, 1976 and will mark its 50th anniversary next year—after overcoming competing developer plans and construction challenges that raised its site 8 feet to prevent flooding. The mall has grown into a key shopping destination for local residents.
