Colorado Parks and Wildlife rereleased a gray wolf in Grand County after capturing it in New Mexico.
Officials planned the move by weighing its proximity to a female, prey and livestock, following the agreement with New Mexico Department of Game & Fish.

Pueblo Fire Department opened Fire Station 6 on the east side Friday at 1:30 p.m. at 111 Victory Lane.
The new facility features net-zero energy design and specialized gear storage (filters out contaminants) with decontamination showers and enhanced living quarters.

Flu hospitalizations have spiked in Colorado due to cold weather and a new influenza variant.
Health officials advise anyone with respiratory symptoms to take an over-the-counter test or seek medical care.

Cuchara Mountain Park cleared its largest hurdle for Chair 4 so lift-powered skiing can return by New Year’s — Panadero Ski Corporation said minor maintenance and a good snowfall will help revive the 50-acre hill.
The park plans to welcome skiers with revived runs that once attracted many enthusiasts.
