- ➤ SoCo Harm Reduction, a Pueblo nonprofit, is broadening its services to provide hygiene programs, a free clothing closet and reentry support in Bessemer — free showers are available on Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The organization plans to partner with local businesses to further support community wellness. ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Data from Zumper shows that Pueblo apartment listings remain stable at a median of $1,250 — nearly matching last year's $1,252 while trending 4% lower than last month’s $1,300 rate. Pueblo Chieftain
- ➤ The Association of American Railroads announced that Rand Ghayad will be the keynote speaker at its 31st annual research review held in Pueblo from April 28-30, 2026 + he is set to share insights on rail policy and economics. Pueblo Chieftain
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ CSU Pueblo and UCHealth have signed an agreement that lets nurses take CSU Pueblo's online RN to BSN program (with $10,000 tuition assistance annually for the $13,000 course) to boost bachelor's-prepared nurses. The next start is Jan. 20. Pueblo Chieftain
