- ➤ Walsenburg officials announced CSO Sgt. Henry Ezell died from on-duty injuries, and the community held a procession on Wednesday that closed City Hall while he was escorted to the Boise-Oertega Funeral Home in Walsenburg (details of his death were not disclosed). KOAA

- ➤ Twenty Minnequa Elementary students received $250 each to shop for Christmas gifts for their families (they rode a limousine to Dick's Sporting Goods) in an event that highlights holiday giving during this season. KOAA
