- ➤ Mariposa Center for Safety has announced plans to transform the historic YWCA pool into a flexible event space that will expand Teresa’s Place Child Safety Exchange and host educational programs and community gatherings in March 2026. Pueblo Chieftain
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ A Move.org report shows that Coloradans spend about $568 per month on utilities — 6.4% of the median household income — which trails the national average of $611. The study ranks Colorado among states with the most affordable bills. Pueblo Chieftain
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Great Outdoors Colorado awarded nearly $2.84 million in grants today to support conservation, recreation and local stewardship in the region. Pueblo County received $160,000 for a master plan while other projects in the Pikes Peak and southern Front Range area aim to protect local natural spaces & enhance outdoor access. Pueblo Chieftain
