- ➤ Rocky Mountain Steel Mills inked a seven-year deal with Union Pacific to supply domestic steel rails in Pueblo, ending a legal dispute. The new long rail mill + powered by an 1,800-acre solar farm will begin operations later this year. Pueblo Chieftain

- ➤ Lake Pueblo is experiencing a 20-foot drop in water levels due to a historic low snowpack, and boaters are advised to check for unmarked hazards as the lake's elevation continues to decline this summer (by exposing new obstacles). KOAA
